Uninstall unneeded Windows Features

A standard Windows 7 installation comes already with a number of so-called Windows Features installed by default. To uninstall unneeded Windows features:
- Open the Control Panel
- Click Programs
- Under Programs and Features click Turn Windows features on or off
- Deselect the unneeded features. Default activated features that most people will not need are:
- Games (or select only the games you like to play)
- Media Features (or select only the features you want to use)
- Print and Document Services (leave Scan and Fax service selected if you use Windows to send faxes)
- Tablet PC Components
- XPS Services
- XPS Viewer
