After a fresh install of Ubuntu I noticed that I was not automatically offered to upgrade to the latest version of the Mozilla Firefox web browser.

Follow the next steps to configure Firefox to use Microsoft Live Mail or Hotmail as default application for mailto links.
Remove ICQ Search from Firefox

After installing ICQ on my PC I noticed that the default search engine in Firefox had changed. When typing keywords in the address field the search for these keywords was suddenly handled by ICQ Search and no longer by Google.
Firefox add-ons do not work after upgrade

After upgrading Mozilla Firefox to a newer version, the previously installed add-ons do not work anymore.
