sony pspIn order to obtain faster loading times as well as keeping the space occupation on the memory stick to the minimum you can optimise your photo’s on your PC before uploading them to your Sony PSP.

Use your favorite photo editor on your PC to:

  1. Reduce the original photo resolution to 72 pixels/inch which is sufficient for on-screen viewing.
  2. Cut the original photo to a dimension of 480×272 pixels to fit the PSP’s native LCD screen size for full screen viewing.
  3. Save the photo in JPG format.

Notes:

  • Upload the converted photos to the folder named PICTURE in the root of the PSP’s memory stick. If no PICTURE folder exists in the root, you’ll need to create it.
  • It is possible to create subfolders in PICTURE for organizing your photo’s into albums, but another subfolder in an existing subfolder will not be recognized.
