windowsEventhough the account used to install Windows 7 is part of the administrators group, you may find the need for a “real” administrator account to get the “old feel of absolute power and administrative control” over your PC back as you were used to in previous Windows versions.

Enable Administrator:

  1. Click Start
  2. Right-click Computer
  3. Click Manage
  4. Double-click System Tools > Local Users and Groups > Administrator
  5. Enable Administrator
  6. From the Actions panel Rename (recommended)
  7. From the Actions panel Set a password (recommended)
