Disable Homegroup

Not everyone will find the new Homegroup feature in Windows 7 useful. Unfortunately there is no uninstall option to actually remove it, but here is how to disable it and remove it from Windows Explorer:
- If you already joined a Homegroup, leave it first before continuing.
- Click the Start button and type Services (alternatively Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools > Services).
- Look for the HomeGroup Listener, stop and disable.
- Look for HomeGroup Provider, stop and disable.
- Restart the PC.
